Our Hathor Kaftan is made out of the finest Raw Silk Fibre, also called peace silk. The Hathor Kaftan is a long and flowing Kaftan; it has a high V cut on the front and the back. Two braids going down the front and the back, decorating the V cut. The braids are loose from the waist down and can tie in multiple ways around the Kaftan. The Kaftan has two slits on the sides, open till below the knee for more comfort in movement. Furthermore, the bottom and the armholes have fringes giving the Kaftan a nomadic feel.
Hathor was one of the major Egyptian Goddesses. She represented the feminine aspects of dance, arts, sacred sexuality, and maternal care. Depicted as the consort of the Sun God Ra, she also held a vital role as the feminine aspect of the Mother Goddess. Her energy is soft, playful, and embracing. Yet powerful holding the solar codes in her center.

Garment Care
Raw Silk (Peace Silk)
Machine Wash on a gentle cycle till up to 30 C | 86 F. If you would like the garment to be a size smaller you can tumble dry. Otherwise do not tumble dry as it shrinks the fabric.
Please keep in mind that heat makes natural fabrics shrink a bit and that all fabrics get much softer after washing.
